What will we cover?

It's true that 7 days isn't long enough to truly incorporate a new practice or habit in your life. But what this 7 days is designed to do is to identify the type, or types, of meditation that will work for your life at the present moment. We ask that you try each meditation with an open mind. You might be surprised to the approach that resonates most with you! Here's a few of the approaches we'll explore:

Breath Awareness. This is one of the best types of meditation for beginners and long-time practitioners alike. Exploring your inhale and exhale gives you a place to fully focus to dive deep.

Loving Kindness. One of the most powerful meditation techniques that expands the heart, focuses the mind, and leaves you feeling energized and more connected after you practice it.

Body Awareness. Similar to breathe awareness, by focuses on our bodies we can come to place of one-pointed focus. This technique allows us to acknowledge emotions and tensions held in the body.

Walking Meditation. Does your body get sore while meditating? This may be the best approach for you. Walking meditation combines slow movement with mindfulness for a unique experience.

Yoga Nidra. Yes that's a bed icon you see! In Yoga Nidra, or sleep yoga, you'll be encouraged to get comfy and let the mind drift through a fully guided experience. You'll feel rested and energized afterwards.

Tonglen. A type of meditation found in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, this takes loving kindness to next level, encouraging us to remember the pain of others, and the blessings we have.
